¹Ve Rab Musa'ya konuşup şöyle dedi:

²"İsrail oğullarına buyruk ver ve onlara de ki: Sizler Kenan ülkesine giriyorsunuz; sınırlarıyla birlikte bu Kenan ülkesi miras olarak size ait olacaktır.

³Güney tarafınız Sin Çölü'nden Edom sınırına bitişik olana kadar uzanacak ve güney sınırınız doğuda Tuz Denizi'nin ucundan başlayacaktır.

⁴Sınırınız güneyden Akrabim Geçidi'ne doğru kıvrılacak, Senna'yı geçip güneyde Kadeş-Barnea'ya kadar ulaşacaktır. Oradan Arad Ağılı'na çıkacak ve Asemona'yı geçecektir.

⁵Sınır Asemona'dan Mısır Deresi boyunca kıvrılacak ve uç noktası Büyük Deniz olacaktır.

⁶Batı sınırınız ise Büyük Deniz olacaktır; bu büyük deniz sınırınızı belirleyecektir, batı sınırınız bu olacaktır.

⁷Kuzey sınırınız ise şu olacaktır: Büyük Deniz'den kendiniz için Dağ Dağ'a kadar ölçüp belirleyeceksiniz.

⁸Dağ Dağ'dan, Emat'a giriş yönü boyunca ölçü alacaksınız ve sınırın uç noktası Saradak olacaktır.

⁹Sınır Defrona'ya çıkacak ve uç noktası Arsenain'de son bulacaktır; kuzey sınırınız bu olacaktır.

¹⁰Doğu sınırınızı ise Arsenain'den Sefpamar'a kadar kendiniz için ölçüp belirleyeceksiniz.

¹¹Sınır Sefpam'dan doğudaki pınarlar yönünde Arbela'ya inecek, oradan daha da aşağı inerek doğuda Keneret Denizi'nin yamaçlarına ulaşacaktır.

¹²Sınır Şeria Irmağı'na inecek ve uç noktası Tuz Denizi olacaktır; çepeçevre sınırlarıyla ülkeniz bu olacaktır."

¹³Musa İsrail oğullarına şöyle buyurdu: "Rab'bin dokuz oymak ile yarım oymağa verilmesini buyurduğu şekliyle, kura ile miras alacağınız ülke budur.

¹⁴Çünkü Ruben oğulları oymağı, Gad oğulları oymağı kendi ata evlerine göre ve Manasse oymağının yarısı kendi miras paylarını aldılar.

¹⁵Bu iki oymak ve yarım oymak, kendi miras paylarını Şeria Irmağı'nın ötesinde, Eriha'nın karşısında, güneyden doğuya doğru aldılar."

¹⁶Ve Rab Musa'ya konuşup şöyle dedi:

¹⁷"Ülkeyi sizin için miras olarak paylaştıracak adamların adları şunlardır: Kahin Eleazar ve Nun oğlu Yesu.

¹⁸Ülkeyi miras olarak paylaştırmak için her oymaktan birer önder alacaksınız.

¹⁹Bu adamların adları şunlardır: Yahuda oymağından Yefonne oğlu Kaleb.

²⁰Symeon oymağından Emiud oğlu Salamiel.

²¹Benyamin oymağından Haslon oğlu Eldad.

²²Dan oymağından önder Egli oğlu Bakchir.

²³Yusuf oğullarından, Manasse oğulları oymağından önder Sufi oğlu Aniel.

²⁴Efraim oğulları oymağından önder Sabathan oğlu Kamuel.

²⁵Zabulon oymağından önder Farnach oğlu Elisafan.

²⁶İssakar oğulları oymağından önder Oza oğlu Faltiel.

²⁷Aşer oğulları oymağından önder Selemi oğlu Ahior.

²⁸Neftali oymağından önder Iamioud oğlu Fadael."

²⁹Kenan ülkesinde miraslarını İsrail oğullarına paylaştırması için Rab'bin buyruk verdiği kişiler bunlardı.

¹ΚΑΙ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

²ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς· ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν Χαναάν· αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς κληρονομίαν, γῆ Χαναὰν σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς.

³καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σὶν ἕως ἐχόμενον ᾿Εδώμ, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν·

⁴καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμᾶς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν ᾿Ακραβὶν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ πρὸς λίβα Κάδης τοῦ Βαρνή. καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν ᾿Αρὰδ καὶ παρελεύσεται ᾿Ασεμωνᾶ·

⁵καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ ᾿Ασεμωνᾶ χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα.

⁶καὶ τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμῖν· ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ, τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης.

⁷καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς βορρᾶν· ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος·

⁸καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους τὸ ὄρος καταμετρήσετε αὐτοῖς εἰσπορευομένων εἰς ᾿Εμάθ, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ τὰ ὅρια Σαραδάκ·

⁹καὶ ἐξελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Δεφρωνά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ ᾿Αρσεναΐν· τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ὅρια ἀπὸ βορρᾶ.

¹⁰καὶ καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὅρια ἀνατολῶν ἀπὸ ᾿Αρσεναΐν Σεπφαμάρ·

¹¹καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφάμ ᾿Αρβηλὰ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἐπὶ πηγάς, καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλὰ ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χενερὲθ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν·

¹²καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν ᾿Ιορδάνην, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή. αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ.

¹³καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ λέγων· αὕτη ἡ γῆ, ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξε Κύριος δοῦναι αὐτὴν ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ·

¹⁴ὅτι ἔλαβε φυλὴ υἱῶν Ῥουβὴν καὶ φυλὴ υἱῶν Γὰδ κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασσῆ ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν,

¹⁵δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν πέραν τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου κατὰ ῾Ιεριχὼ ἀπὸ νότου κατὰ ἀνατολάς.

¹⁶Καὶ ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων·

¹⁷ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν, οἳ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν· ᾿Ελεάζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ᾿Ιησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυή.

¹⁸καὶ ἄρχοντα ἕνα ἐκ φυλῆς λήψεσθε κατακληρονομῆσαι ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν.

¹⁹καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν· τῆς φυλῆς ᾿Ιούδα Χάλεβ υἱὸς ᾿Ιεφοννή·

²⁰τῆς φυλῆς Συμεὼν Σαλαμιὴλ υἱὸς ᾿Εμιούδ·

²¹τῆς φυλῆς Βενιαμὶν ᾿Ελδὰδ υἱὸς Χασλών·

²²τῆς φυλῆς Δὰν ἄρχων Βακχὶρ υἱὸς ᾿Εγλί·

²³τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ιωσὴφ φυλῆς υἱῶν Μανασσῆ ἄρχων ᾿Ανιὴλ υἱὸς Σουφί·

²⁴τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Εφραὶμ ἄρχων Καμουὴλ υἱὸς Σαβαθᾶν·

²⁵τῆς φυλῆς Ζαβουλὼν ἄρχων ᾿Ελισαφὰν υἱὸς Φαρνάχ·

²⁶τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ισσάχαρ ἄρχων Φαλτιὴλ υἱὸς ᾿Οζᾶ·

²⁷τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ασὴρ ἄρχων ᾿Αχιὼρ υἱὸς Σελεμί·

²⁸τῆς φυλῆς Νεφθαλὶ ἄρχων Φαδαὴλ υἱὸς ᾿Ιαμιούδ.

²⁹τούτοις ἐνετείλατο Κύριος καταμερίσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς ᾿Ισραὴλ ἐν γῇ Χαναάν.

¹And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

²Charge the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Ye are entering into the land of Chanaan: it shall be to you for an inheritance, the land of Chanaan with its boundaries.

³And your southern side shall be from the wilderness of Sin to the border of Edom, and your border southward shall extend on the side of the salt sea eastward.

⁴And your border shall go round you from the south to the ascent of Acrabi, and shall proceed by Ennac, and the going forth of it shall be southward to Cades Barne, and it shall go forth to the village of Arad, and shall proceed by Asemona.

⁵And the border shall compass from Asemona to the river of Egypt, and the sea shall be the termination.

⁶And ye shall have your border on the west, the great sea shall be the boundary: this shall be to you the border on the west.

⁷And this shall be your northern border; from the great sea ye shall measure to yourselves, by the side of the mountain.

⁸And ye shall measure to yourselves the mountain from mount [Hor] at the entering in to Emath, and the termination of it shall be the coasts of Saradac.

⁹And the border shall go out to Dephrona, and its termination shall be at Arsenain; this shall be your border from the north.

¹⁰And ye shall measure to yourselves the eastern border from Arsenain to Sepphamar.

¹¹And the border shall go down from Sepphamar to Bela eastward to the fountains, and the border shall go down from Bela behind the sea Chenereth eastward.

¹²And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the termination shall be the salt sea; this shall be your land and its borders round about.

¹³And Moses charged the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the land which ye shall inherit by lot, even as the Lord commanded us to give it to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasse.

¹⁴For the tribe of the children of Ruben, and the tribe of the children of Gad have received [their inheritance] according to their families; and the half-tribe of Manasse have received their inheritances.

¹⁵Two tribes and half a tribe have received their inheritance beyond Jordan by Jericho from the south eastwards.

¹⁶And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁷These [are] the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for an inheritance; Eleazar the priest and Joshua the [son] of Naue.

¹⁸And ye shall take one ruler from [each] tribe to divide the land to you by lot.

¹⁹And these [are] the names of the men; of the tribe of Juda Chaleb the son of Jephonne.

²⁰Of the tribe of Symeon, Salamiel the son of Semiud.

²¹Of the tribe of Benjamin, Eldad the son of Chaslon.

²²Of the tribe of Dan the prince [was] Bacchir the son of Egli.

²³Of the sons of Joseph of the tribe of the sons of Manasse, the prince was Aniel the son of Suphi.

²⁴Of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, the prince was Camuel the son of Sabathan.

²⁵Of the tribe of Zabulon, the prince was Elisaphan the son of Pharnac.

²⁶Of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, the prince was Phaltiel the son of Oza.

²⁷Of the tribe of the children of Aser, the prince was Achior the son of Selemi.

²⁸Of the tribe of Nephthali, the prince was Phadael the son of Jamiud.

²⁹These did the Lord command to distribute [the inheritances] to the children of Israel in the land of Chanaan.
