⁴καὶ ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ Σελμωνὰν καὶ διεκβάλλει ἕως φάραγγος Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν· τοῦτό ἐστιν αὐτῶν ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβός.

⁵καὶ τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν· πᾶσα ἡ θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκὴ ἕως τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς λοφιᾶς τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ μέρους τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου·

⁶ἐπιβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ Βαιθαγλὰ καὶ παραπορεύεται ἀπὸ Βορρᾶ ἐπὶ Βαιθάραβα, καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ λίθον Βαιὼν υἱοῦ Ῥουβήν,

⁷καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς φάραγγος ᾿Αχὼρ καὶ καταβαίνει ἐπὶ Γαλγάλ, ἥ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι τῆς προσβάσεως ᾿Αδδαμίν, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ λίβα τῇ φάραγγι, καὶ διεκβάλλει ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ πηγῆς τοῦ ἡλίου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος πηγὴ Ῥωγήλ,

⁸καὶ ἀναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια εἰς φάραγγα ᾿Ονὸμ ἐπὶ νώτου ᾿Ιεβοῦς ἀπὸ λιβὸς (αὕτη ἐστὶν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ) καὶ διεκβάλλει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ κορυφὴν ὄρους, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ πρόσωπον φάραγγος ᾿Ονὸμ πρὸς θαλάσσης, ἥ ἐστιν ἐκ μέρους γῆς Ῥαφαΐν ἐπὶ βορρᾶ,

⁹καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον ἀπὸ κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐπὶ πηγὴν ὕδατος Ναφθὼ καὶ διεκβάλλει εἰς τὸ ὄρος ᾿Εφρών, καὶ ἄξει τὸ ὅριον εἰς Βαὰλ (αὕτη ἐστὶ πόλις ᾿Ιαρίμ),

¹⁰καὶ περιελεύσεται ὅριον ἀπὸ Βαὰλ ἐπὶ θάλασσαν καὶ παρελεύσεται εἰς ὄρος ᾿Ασσὰρ ἐπὶ νώτου, Πόλιν ᾿Ιαρὶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χασλὼν) καὶ καταβήσεται ἐπὶ Πόλιν ἡλίου καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ λίβα,

¹¹καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον κατὰ νώτου ᾿Ακκαρὼν ἐπὶ βορρᾶν, καὶ διεκβαλεῖ τὰ ὅρια εἰς Σοκχὼθ καὶ παρελεύσεται ὅρια ἐπὶ λίβα καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ Λεβνά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ θάλασσαν. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ θαλάσσης· ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ.

¹²ταῦτα τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα κύκλῳ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.

¹³καὶ τῷ Χάλεβ υἱῷ ᾿Ιεφονὴ ἔδωκε μερίδα ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα διὰ προστάγματος τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ᾿Ιησοῦς τὴν πόλιν ᾿Αρβὸκ μητρόπολιν ᾿Ενὰκ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χεβρών).

¹⁴καὶ ἐξωλόθρευσεν ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ υἱὸς ᾿Ιεφονὴ τοὺς τρεῖς υἱοὺς ᾿Ενάκ, τὸν Σουσὶ καὶ Θολαμὶ καὶ τὸν ᾿Αχιμᾶ.

¹⁵καὶ ἀνέβη ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Δαβίρ· τὸ δὲ ὄνομα Δαβὶρ ἦν τὸ πρότερον Πόλις γραμμάτων.

¹⁶καὶ εἶπε Χάλεβ· ὃς ἐὰν λάβῃ καὶ ἐκκόψῃ τὴν Πόλιν τῶν γραμμάτων καὶ κυριεύσῃ αὐτῆς, δώσω αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα μου εἰς γυναῖκα·

¹⁷καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν Γοθονιὴλ υἱὸς Κενὲζ ἀδελφὸς Χάλεβ ὁ νεώτερος καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ γυναῖκα.

¹⁸καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐκπορεύεσθαι αὐτὴν καὶ συνεβουλεύσατο αὐτῷ λέγουσα· αἰτήσομαι τὸν πατέρα μου ἀγρόν· καὶ ἐβόησεν ἐκ τοῦ ὄνου. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ· τί ἐστί σοι;

¹⁹καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· δός μοι εὐλογίαν, ὅτι εἰς γῆν Ναγὲβ δέδωκάς με· δός μοι τὴν Γολαθμαίν. καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν ἄνω καὶ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν κάτω.

²⁰αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα.

²¹᾿Εγενήθησαν δὲ πόλεις αὐτῶν· πόλις πρώτη φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα ἐφ’ ὁρίων ᾿Εδὼμ ἐπὶ τῆς ἐρήμου,

²²καὶ Βαισελεὴλ καὶ ᾿Αρὰ καὶ ᾿Ασὼρ καὶ ᾿Ικὰμ καὶ Ῥεγμὰ καὶ ᾿Αρουὴλ

²³καὶ Κάδης καὶ ᾿Ασοριωναὶν καὶ Μαινὰμ

²⁴καὶ Βαλμαινὰν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν

²⁵καὶ αἱ πόλεις ᾿Ασερὼν (αὕτη ᾿Ασὼρ)

³³ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ· ᾿Ασταὼλ καὶ Ῥάα καὶ ῎Ασσα

³⁴καὶ Ῥάμεν καὶ Τανὼ καὶ ᾿Ιλουθὼθ καὶ Μαιανὶ

³⁵καὶ ῾Ιερμοὺθ καὶ ᾿Οδολλὰμ καὶ Μεμβρὰ καὶ Σαωχὼ καὶ ᾿Αζηκὰ

³⁶καὶ Σακαρὶμ καὶ Γάδηρα καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς, πόλεις δεκατέσσαρες καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

³⁷Σεννὰ καὶ ᾿Αδασὰν καὶ Μαγαδαλγὰδ

³⁸καὶ Δαλὰλ καὶ Μασφὰ καὶ ᾿Ιαχαρεὴλ καὶ Λαχὶς

³⁹καὶ Βασηδὼθ καὶ ᾿Ιδεαδαλέα

⁴⁰καὶ Χαβρὰ καὶ Μαχὲς καὶ Μααχὼς

⁴¹καὶ Γεδδὼρ καὶ Βαγαδιὴλ καὶ Νωμὰν καὶ Μαχηδάν, πόλεις ἑκκαίδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁴²Λεβνὰ καὶ ᾿Ιθὰκ καὶ ᾿Ανὼχ

⁴³καὶ ᾿Ιανὰ καὶ Νασὶβ

⁴⁴καὶ Κεϊλὰμ καὶ ᾿Ακιεζὶ καὶ Κεζὶβ καὶ Βαθησὰρ καὶ Αἰλώμ, πόλεις δέκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁴⁵᾿Ακκαρὼν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν·

⁴⁶ἀπὸ ᾿Ακκαρὼν Γεμνὰ καὶ πᾶσαι, ὅσαι εἰσὶ πλησίον ᾿Ασηδώθ, καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁴⁷᾿Ασιεδὼθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς· Γάζα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ χειμάρρου Αἰγύπτου· καὶ ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη διορίζει.

⁴⁸καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀρεινῇ· Σαμὶρ καὶ ᾿Ιεθὲρ καὶ Σωχὰ

⁴⁹καὶ Ῥεννὰ καὶ Πόλις γραμμάτων (αὕτη Δαβὶρ)

⁵⁰καὶ ᾿Ανὼν καὶ ᾿Εσκαιμὰν καὶ Αἰσὰμ

⁵¹καὶ Γοσὸμ καὶ Χαλοὺ καὶ Χαννά, πόλεις ἕνδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁵²Αἰρὲμ καὶ Ῥεμνὰ καὶ Σομὰ

⁵³καὶ ᾿Ιεμαΐν καὶ Βαιθαχοὺ καὶ Φακουὰ

⁵⁴καὶ Εὐμὰ καὶ πόλις ᾿Αρβὸκ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χεβρὼν) καὶ Σωραίθ, πόλεις ἐννέα καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν·

⁵⁵Μαὼρ καὶ Χερμὲλ καὶ ᾿Οζὶβ καὶ ᾿Ιτὰν

⁵⁶καὶ ᾿Ιαριὴλ καὶ ᾿Αρικὰμ καὶ Ζακαναΐμ

⁵⁷καὶ Γαβαὰ καὶ Θαμναθά, πόλεις ἐννέα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁵⁸᾿Αλουὰ καὶ Βαιθσοὺρ καὶ Γεδδὼν

⁵⁹καὶ Μαγαρὼθ καὶ Βαιθανὰμ καὶ Θεκούμ, πόλεις ἓξ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· Θεκὼ καὶ ᾿Εφραθὰ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Βηθλεὲμ) καὶ Φαγὼρ καὶ Αἰτὰν καὶ Κουλὸν καὶ Τατὰμ καὶ Θωβὴς καὶ Καρὲμ καὶ Γαλὲμ καὶ Θεθὴρ καὶ Μανοχώ, πόλεις ἕνδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν·

⁶⁰Καριαθβαὰλ (αὕτη ἡ πόλις ᾿Ιαρὶμ) καὶ Σωθηβᾶ, πόλεις δύο καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν

⁶¹καὶ Βαδδαργεὶς καὶ Θαραβαὰμ καὶ Αἰνὼν

⁶²καὶ Αἰχιοζὰ καὶ Ναφλαζὼν καὶ αἱ πόλεις Σαδὼν καὶ ᾿Αγκάδης, πόλεις ἑπτὰ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν.

⁶³καὶ ὁ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖος κατῴκει ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλήμ, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ιούδα ἀπολέσαι αὐτούς· καὶ κατῴκησαν οἱ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖοι ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.

¹And the borders of the tribe of Juda according to their families were from the borders of Idumea from the wilderness of Sin, as far as Cades southward.

²And their borders were from the south as far as a part of the salt sea from the high country that extends southward.

³And they proceed before the ascent of Acrabin, and go out round Sena, and go up from the south to Cades Barne; and go out to Asoron, and proceed up to Sarada, and go out by the way that is west of Cades.

⁴And they go out to Selmona, and issue at the valley of Egypt; and the termination of its boundaries shall be at the sea: these are their boundaries southward.

⁵And their boundaries eastward [are] all the salt sea as far as Jordan; and their borders from the north, and from the border of the sea, and from part of Jordan--

⁶the borders go up to Baethagla, and they go along from the north to Baetharaba, and the borders go on up to the stone of Baeon the son of Ruben.

⁷And the borders continue on to the fourth part of the valley of Achor, and go down to Galgal, which is before the approach of Addamin, which is southward in the valley, and terminate at the water of the fountain of the sun; and their going forth shall be the fountain of Rogel.

⁸And the borders go up to the valley of Onom, behind Jebus southward; this is Jerusalem: and the borders terminate at the top of the mountain, which is before the valley of Onom toward the sea, which is by the side of the land of Raphain northward.

⁹And the border [going forth] from the top of the mountain terminates at the fountain of the water of Naphtho, and terminates at mount Ephron; and the border will lead to Baal; this is the city of Jarim.

¹⁰And the border will go round from Baal to the sea, and will go on to the mount of Assar behind the city of Jarin northwards; this is Chaslon: and it will come down to the city of Sun, and will go on to the south.

¹¹And the border terminates behind Accaron northward, and the borders will terminate at Socchoth, and the borders will go on to the south, and will terminate at Lebna, and the issue of the borders will be at the sea; and their borders [shall be] toward the sea, the great sea shall be the boundary.

¹²These [are] the borders of the children of Juda round about according to their families.

¹³And to Chaleb the son of Jephone he gave a portion in the midst of the children of Juda by the command of God; and Joshua gave him the city of Arboc the metropolis of Enac; this is Chebron.

¹⁴And Chaleb the son of Jephone destroyed thence the three sons of Enac, Susi, and Tholami, and Achima.

¹⁵And Chaleb went up thence to the inhabitants of Dabir; and the name of Dabir before was the City of letters.

⁴⁰and Chabra, and Maches, and Machos,

⁴¹and Geddor, and Bagadiel, and Noman, and Machedan: sixteen cities, and their villages;

⁴²Lebna, and Ithac, and Anoch,

⁴³and Jana, and Nasib,

⁴⁴and Keilam, and Akiezi, and Kezib, and Bathesar, and Aelom: ten cities, and their villages;

⁴⁵Accaron and her villages, and their hamlets:

⁴⁶from Accaron, Gemna, and all the cities that are near Asedoth; and their villages.

⁴⁷Asiedoth, and her villages, and her hamlets; Gaza, and its villages and its hamlets as far as the river of Egypt, and the great sea is the boundary.

⁴⁸And in the hill country Samir, and Jether, and Socha,

⁴⁹and Renna and the city of Letters, this [is] Dabir;

⁶⁰Cariathbaal, this [is] the city of Jarim, and Sotheba: two cities, and their villages:

⁶³And the Jebusite dwelt in Jerusalem, and the children of Juda could not destroy them; and the Jebusites dwelt in Jerusalem to this day.
