¹Ve sekizinci günde şöyle oldu: Musa; Harun’u, onun oğullarını ve İsrail’in ihtiyar heyetini çağırdı.

²Ve Musa Harun’a şöyle dedi: "Kendin için sığırlardan günah sunusu olarak kusursuz bir dana ve tamamen yakılacak kurban olarak kusursuz bir koç al ve bunları Rabbin önünde sun."

³"İsrail’in ihtiyar heyetine de konuşarak şöyle de: 'Günah sunusu olarak keçilerden bir teke, tamamen yakılacak takdime olarak da birer yaşında, kusursuz bir dana ile bir kuzu alın.'"

⁴"'Ve Rabbin önünde esenlik kurbanı olarak sunmak üzere bir boğa ile bir koç ve zeytinyağıyla yoğrulmuş ince un hazırlayın; çünkü bugün Rab aranızda görünecektir.'"

⁵Ve Musa’nın buyurduğu gibi bunları tanıklık çadırının karşısına getirdiler; bütün topluluk yaklaştı ve Rabbin önünde durdu.

⁶Ve Musa, "Rabbin yapmanızı buyurduğu söz budur; bunu yapın ki Rabbin yüceliği aranızda görünecektir" dedi.

⁷Sonra Musa Harun’a, "Sunağa yaklaş; kendi günah sununu ve tamamen yakılacak kurbanını sunup kendin ve evin için kefaret et; sonra halkın takdimelerini sun ve Rabbin Musa’ya buyurduğu gibi onlar için kefaret et" dedi.

⁸Böylece Harun sunağa yaklaştı ve kendisi için olan günah sunusu danasını boğazladı.

⁹Harun’un oğulları kanı ona getirdiler; o da parmağını kana batırıp sunağın boynuzlarının üzerine sürdü ve kalan kanı sunağın tabanına döktü.

¹⁰Günah sunusuna ait olan yağı, böbrekleri ve karaciğerin üzerindeki lobu, Rabbin Musa’ya buyurduğu şekilde sunağın üzerinde yukarı götürüp sundu.

¹¹Etleri ve postu ise ordugahın dışında ateşte tamamen yaktı.

¹²Sonra tamamen yakılacak kurbanı boğazladı; Harun’un oğulları kanı ona getirdiler, o da bunu sunağın üzerine çevre boyunca döktü.

¹³Tamamen yakılacak kurbanı parçalarına ayrılmış olarak, başıyla birlikte kendisine getirdiler; o da bunları sunağın üzerinde yaktı.

¹⁴Karın boşluğunu ve ayakları suyla yıkadı ve bunları sunağın üzerindeki tamamen yakılacak kurbanın üstüne koyup yaktı.

¹⁵Sonra halkın takdimesini sundu; halkın günah sunusu olan tekeyi alıp boğazladı ve ilkini arındırdığı gibi onu da arındırdı.

¹⁶Tamamen yakılacak kurbanı da getirip uygun olduğu şekilde sundu.

¹⁷Un takdimesini sundu, ondan ellerini doldurup sabahki tamamen yakılacak kurbandan ayrı olarak sunağın üzerinde yaktı.

¹⁸Halkın esenlik kurbanı olan boğayı ve koçu boğazladı; Harun’un oğulları kanı ona getirdiler, o da bunu sunağın üzerine çevre boyunca döktü.

¹⁹Boğadan ve koçtan olan yağları, sağrı yağını, karın üzerini örten yağı, iki böbreği, üzerlerindeki yağı ve karaciğerin üzerindeki lobu aldılar.

²⁰Yağları göğüslerin üzerine koydular; Harun da yağları sunağın üzerinde yukarı götürüp sundu.

²¹Göğsü ve sağ ön bacağı ise Harun, Rabbin Musa’ya buyurduğu şekilde, kaldırılan bir takdime olarak Rabbin önünde ayırdı.

²²Sonra Harun ellerini halka doğru kaldırıp onları kutsadı; günah sunusunu, tamamen yakılacak kurbanları ve esenlik kurbanlarını sunduktan sonra aşağı indi.

²³Musa ile Harun tanıklık çadırının içine girdiler; dışarı çıktıklarında bütün halkı kutsadılar. O anda Rabbin yüceliği bütün halka göründü.

²⁴Ve Rabbin katından bir ateş çıktı; sunağın üzerindeki tamamen yakılacak kurbanları ve yağları yiyip bitirdi. Bütün halk bunu görünce dehşete düştü ve yüzüstü yere kapandı.

¹ΚΑΙ ἐγενήθη τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ, ἐκάλεσε Μωυσῆς ᾿Ααρὼν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν γερουσίαν ᾿Ισραήλ.

²καὶ εἶπε Μωυσῆς πρὸς ᾿Ααρών· λάβε σεαυτῷ μοσχάριον ἐκ βοῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ κριὸν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα, ἄμωμα, καὶ προσένεγκε αὐτὰ ἔναντι Κυρίου·

³καὶ τῇ γερουσίᾳ ᾿Ισραὴλ λάλησον, λέγων· λάβετε χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγῶν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας, καὶ μοσχάριον, καὶ ἀμνὸν ἐνιαύσιον εἰς ὁλοκάρπωσιν, ἄμωμα,

⁴καὶ μόσχον καὶ κριὸν εἰς θυσίαν σωτηρίου ἔναντι Κυρίου καὶ σεμίδαλιν πεφυραμένην ἐν ἐλαίῳ· ὅτι σήμερον Κύριος ὀφθήσεται ἐν ὑμῖν.

⁵καὶ ἔλαβον, καθὸ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς, ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ προσῆλθε πᾶσα συναγωγὴ καὶ ἔστησαν ἔναντι Κυρίου.

⁶καὶ εἶπε Μωυσῆς· τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα, ὃ εἶπε Κύριος, ποιήσατε, καὶ ὀφθήσεται ἐν ὑμῖν ἡ δόξα Κυρίου.

⁷καὶ εἶπε Μωυσῆς τῷ ᾿Ααρών· πρόσελθε πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ποίησον τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σου καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμά σου καὶ ἐξίλασαι περὶ σεαυτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου σου· καὶ ποίησον τὰ δῶρα τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἐξίλασαι περὶ αὐτῶν, καθάπερ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.

⁸καὶ προσῆλθεν ᾿Ααρὼν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἔσφαξε τὸ μοσχάριον τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ.

⁹καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ααρὼν τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ἔβαψε τὸν δάκτυλον εἰς τὸ αἷμα καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ αἷμα ἐξέχεεν ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου·

¹⁰καὶ τὸ στέαρ καὶ τοὺς νεφροὺς καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τοῦ ἥπατος τοῦ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἀνήνεγκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, ὃν τρόπον ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.

¹¹καὶ τὰ κρέα καὶ τὴν βύρσαν κατέκαυσεν αὐτὰ πυρί, ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς.

¹²καὶ ἔσφαξε τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα· καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ααρὼν τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν. καὶ προσέχεεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ·

¹³καὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα προσήνεγκαν αὐτὸ κατὰ μέλη, αὐτὰ καὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν ἐπέθηκεν ἐπί τὸ θυσιαστήριον·

¹⁴καὶ ἔπλυνε τὴν κοιλίαν καὶ τοὺς πόδας ὕδατι καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον.

¹⁵καὶ προσήνεγκε τὸ δῶρον τοῦ λαοῦ· καὶ ἔλαβε τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἔσφαξεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐκαθάρισεν αὐτόν, καθὰ καὶ τὸν πρῶτον.

¹⁶καὶ προσήνεγκε τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτό, ὡς καθήκει.

¹⁷καὶ προσήνεγκε τὴν θυσίαν, καὶ ἔπλησε τὰς χεῖρας ἀπ᾿ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον χωρὶς τοῦ ὁλοκαυτώματος τοῦ πρωϊνοῦ.

¹⁸καὶ ἔσφαξε τὸν μόσχον, καὶ τὸν κριὸν τῆς θυσίας τοῦ σωτηρίου τῆς τοῦ λαοῦ· καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ααρὼν τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ προσέχεε πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ·

¹⁹καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τοῦ κριοῦ, τὴν ὀσφὺν καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφρούς, καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾿ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος,

²⁰καὶ ἐπέθηκε τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὰ στηθύνια, καὶ ἀνήνεγκε τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον.

²¹καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον, καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιὸν ἀφεῖλεν ᾿Ααρὼν ἀφαίρεμα ἔναντι Κυρίου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξε Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.

²²καὶ ἐξάρας ᾿Ααρὼν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν, εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς· καὶ κατέβη ποιήσας τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου.

²³καὶ εἰσῆλθε Μωυσῆς καὶ ᾿Ααρὼν εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξελθόντες εὐλόγησαν πάντα τὸν λαόν, καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα Κυρίου παντὶ τῷ λαῷ.

²⁴καὶ ἐξῆλθε πῦρ παρὰ Κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγε τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, τά τε ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ στέατα, καὶ εἶδε πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐξέστη καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον.

¹And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel,

²and Moses said to Aaron, Take to thyself a young calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a whole-burnt-offering, unblemished, and offer them before the Lord.

³And speak to the elders of Israel, saying, Take one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a young calf, and a lamb of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering, spotless,

⁴and a calf and a ram for a peace offering before the Lord, and fine flour mingled with oil, for to-day the Lord will appear among you.

⁵And they took as Moses commanded them before the tabernacle of witness, and all the congregation drew nigh, and they stood before the Lord.

⁶And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord has spoken; do [it], and the glory of the Lord shall appear among you.

⁷And Moses said to Aaron, Draw nigh to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy whole-burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for thy house; and offer the gifts of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded Moses.

⁸And Aaron drew nigh to the altar, and slew the calf of his sin-offering.

⁹And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and he poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

¹⁰And he offered up on the altar the fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin-offering, according as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹¹And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire outside of the camp.

¹²And he slew the whole-burnt-offering; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it on the altar round about.

¹³And they brought the whole-burnt-offering, according to its pieces; them and the head he put upon the altar.

¹⁴And he washed the belly and the feet with water, and he put them on the whole-burnt-offering on the altar.

¹⁵And he brought the gift of the people, and took the goat of the sin-offering of the people, and slew it, and purified it as also the first.

¹⁶And he brought the whole-burnt-offering, and offered it in due form.

¹⁷And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole-burnt-offering.

¹⁸And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about.

¹⁹And [he took] the fat of the calf, and the hind quarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver.

²⁰And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar.

²¹And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice-offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

²²And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin-offering, and the whole-burnt-offerings, and the peace-offerings, he came down.

²³And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

²⁴And fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured the offerings on the altar, both the whole-burnt-offerings and the fat; and all the people saw, and were amazed, and fell upon their faces.
